What Ocr4you does
Most people need to fix a document at the worst possible moment: a form that only accepts a PDF under 200 KB, a passport photo in the wrong size, a scanned contract that needs to be edited, or a dozen phone photos that must become one file. Ocr4you brings the tools for these jobs together on one site, without software to install and without signing up for the basic tasks.
Today the site offers 66 free browser tools and 12 AI OCR tools.
Two kinds of tools, two ways of handling your files
Free browser tools
Merging, splitting, compressing, converting, cropping, resizing, signing and protecting files all happen inside your browser. The file is read from your device, processed in memory with JavaScript and saved back to your device. It is never uploaded, so it works even for confidential files, and it is free.
OCR on our server
Recognising text in scans and photos takes far more processing power, so OCR files are sent over HTTPS to our server, processed with OCR engines (including Google Cloud Vision for some tools), and returned as text, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or searchable PDF. OCR is paid per page, with 16 free pages to try it.
